About this book
Latty and Com is a series of digital picture books written to be read aloud to children aged 3 to 5.
Two otter brothers, Latty and Com, set out to find the blank spaces on their grandfather's map. Latty is the one who asks, and Com is the one who looks things up. Neither one of them can reach the answer alone.
Each story is 12 spreads. About 3 minutes read aloud, or 5 to 7 minutes with pauses. The Japanese edition uses no kanji at all; the English edition uses short, simple words.

How it is made
The illustrations are made with generative AI, and the narration with an AI voice.
The story structure, the text, the scene design, the design and selection of the image prompts, the animation and the sound are all our own work. We keep a record of how each part was made: the prompts, how many times we redid them, why we chose what we chose, and the corrections we asked for.
