PlayHow it works
- 1Press the spin button to decide where to go.
- 2Look at the flag, then put the country's name together one letter at a time. Each letter reads itself aloud when tapped.
- 3Answer the food and animal questions, and the guide appears to teach you a greeting.
- 4Finish, and a stamp is added to the passport.
Getting it wrong costs nothing. What you have already placed stays, and Com says "It's okay to get it wrong!" so you can try again.
For grown-ups
Designed for ages 3-5, the age at which children begin to read. A grown-up can tap for a child who cannot read yet, and enjoy it as sound alone.
The guide never gives the answer first; it only shows. The child looks, copies, and finds out - the same idea as the picture books.
Stamps are kept on this device only. Nothing is sent to a server, and clearing the browser's data clears them.
The corner itself is in Japanese: children spell the country's name in hiragana. The flags, foods, animals and greetings do not depend on the language, so it can still be enjoyed together.
